- Mrs Lan Huong Nguyen, the founder of ZEN, participated in several projects including Wellness Spa Asia in 2005 and 2006 and a Spa Management course run by the Pacific Spa Academy Organization
- "Intellectual Property Rights" registration of the ZEN Spa brand
- Two ZEN Spa branches open in Hoi An at the Hoi An Hotel and Hoi An Beach Resort under a franchise agreement
- Consultancy work for Dutch and Danish branding partners on the Cha Pa Garden Boutique Hotel & Spa in Sapa
2007
- ZEN Spa Red River in Hanoi built and opened
- Became an official member of the Asia Pacific Spa Association
2008 and 2009
- ZEN Spa Vietnam nominated for "Day Spa of the Year" AsiaSpa Awards 2009 " by AsiaSpa (Spa Association Asia Pacific)
2010
- The ZEN Spa corporation expands and opens another branch at Hanoi’s West Lake
- Design and management of La Siesta Spa at Hanoi Elegance Diamond Hotel
2011
Design and construction continues on a new ZEN Spa branch in Da Nang which will be one of the largest spas in South East Asia
SOME OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS
The ZEN Corporation was formed in 2006 and its strong, well developed brand has led to rapid business success over a short space of time.
It can be said that ZEN Spa Vietnam is one of the most successful Spa brands in Vietnam as demonstrated by the recognition given to ZEN in the “Tin & Dùng 2010-2011” awards organised by the Vietnam Economic Times.
ZEN’s adherence to traditional Vietnamese values has led to a strong and loyal following and good reputation especially with foreign visitors.
Both domestic and foreign media are especially interested in the ZEN Spa concept and development. It is always a source of inspiration for journalists writing about the healthcare and beauty industry.
CULTURAL- SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
The ZEN business is also proud to support a number of charitable and social causes through fundraising projects. These include:
- In 2007 assistance to people affected by the storms and floods in Central Vietnam
- Together with Hoi An JSC raising money in 2008 for the Victims of Agent Orange
- Contributing to the 2010 Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund
- Giving gifts to orphaned children in 2011 at the Bo De temple in Hanoi
- Regular support for annual charitable programs run by Non-Governmental Organizations and Embassies
It would be a mistake not to draw attention to the recent social activities and outings undertaken by the ZEN management and staff. These activities have played an important part in forming the company’s culture, developing an understanding of society and bringing greater meaning to work. These include:
